GELISH application for LED9G or UV Light.
  1. Sanitise both your and the clients hands
  2. Perform natural nail preparation by gently pushing back the cuticle & removing non-living tissue from the nail plate
  3. Using a 240/400 Wooden file shape & smooth the free edge of the natural nail.
  4. Gently Buff the entire nail surface using the 100 side of the 100/180 Buffer to remove the surface shine.
  5. Remove all dust from nail plate using a nylon dust brush.
  6. Clean the entire nail surface using a lint free wipe moistened with CLEANSE .
  7. Sparingly apply 1 coat of Hand & Nail Harmony Ph BOND to the nail plate.
  8. Apply GELISH FOUNDATION - Wipe applicator against the neck of the bottle to remove excess product from the brush. Apply 1 THIN coat by massaging FOUNDATION into the nail surface and then wipe towards the free edge making sure to seal/cap the free edges. Check cuticle & side wall areas, remove any FOUNDATION that has come into contact with the skin before placing hand into light.
  9. Place hand in the LED 9G Light for 10 seconds or 36watt UV Light for 1 minute.
  10. Using a clean, dry brush or clean, dry lint free wipe, gently remove the shiny surface "deglaze" from Foundation Gel. DO NOT USE ANY CLEANSE (this is a "dry clean" of the FOUNDATION surface).
  11. Apply 1 THIN coat of GELISH Soak Off Gel Polish. Gently wipe applicator brush against the neck of the bottle to remove excess product from brush. Place the brush in the centre of the nail slightly away from cuticle area, gently push brush back toward cuticle & pull toward the free edge keeping the brush parallel to the nail. Be sure to seal/cap free edges. Check cuticle & sidewall areas & remove any product that has come into contact with skin before placing nails into light.
  12. Cure in LED 9G for 30 seconds or a 36 watt UV Light for 2 minutes.
  13. Repeat steps 11 & 12.
  14. Apply 1 THIN light coat of GELISH TOP IT OFF. Gently wipe applicator brush against the neck of the bottle to remove excess product from brush. Place the brush in the centre of the nail slightly away from cuticle area, gently push brush back toward cuticle & pull toward the free edge keeping the brush parallel to the nail. Be sure to seal/cap free edges. Check cuticle & sidewall areas & remove any product that has come into contact with skin before placing nails into light.
  15. Place hand in LED 9G Light for 20 seconds or 36 watt UV Light for 2 minutes.
  16. Wipe off the "tacky" surface layer using a lint free nail wipe moistened with CLEANSE.
  17. Condition the surrounding skin with NOURISH Cuticle oil.
 
 
 
GELISH Structure Application
  1. Sanitise your and the clients hands
  2. Perform natural nail preparation by gently pushing back the cuticle & removing non-living tissue from the nail plate.
  3. Using a 240/400 Wooden file shape & smooth the free edge of the natural nail.
  4. Gently Buff the entire nail surface using the 100 side of the 100/180 Buffer to remove the surface shine.
  5. Remove all dust from nail plate using a nylon dust brush.
  6. Thoroughly clean the nail plate to remove all contaminants using a lint free wipe moistened with CLEANSE.
  7. Sparingly apply 1 coat of Hand & Nail Harmony PH Bond to the nail plate.
  8. Apply GELISH FOUNDATION - Wipe applicator against the neck of the bottle to remove excess product from the brush. Apply 1 THIN coat by massaging Foundation into the nail surface and then wipe towards the free edge making sure to seal/cap the free edges. Check cuticle & side wall areas, remove any FOUNDATION that has come into contact with the skin before placing hand into light.
  9. Place hand in the LED 9G Light for 10seconds or 36 watt UV Light for 1minute.
  10. Using a clean dry brush or clean dry lint free wipe gently "Deglaze" remove the shiny surface from FOUNDATION Gel. DO NOT USE CLEANSER. (this is a "dry clean" of the FOUNDATION surface).
  11. Apply GELISH STRUCTURE GEL in a thin application from cuticle to free edge to build structure in the nail. Seal the edges of the nail and the free edge. Place hand in LED 9G Light for 30 seconds or 36 watt UV Light for 2 minutes.
  12. Apply 1 THIN coat of GELISH soak off gel polish. Gently wipe applicator brush against the neck of the bottle to remove excess product from brush. Place the brush in the centre of the nail slightly away from cuticle area, gently push brush back toward cuticle & pull toward the free edge keeping the brush parallel to the nail. Be sure to seal/cap free edges. Check cuticle & sidewall areas & remove any product that has come into contact with skin before placing nails into light. Cure in LED 9G for 30 seconds or a 36watt UV Light for 2 minutes.
  13. Repeat step12.
  14. Apply 1 THIN light coat of GELISH TOP IT OFF. Gently wipe applicator brush against the neck of the bottle to re-move excess product from brush. Place the brush in the centre of the nail slightly away from cuticle area, gently push brush back toward cuticle & pull toward the free edge keeping the brush parallel to the nail. Be sure to seal/cap free edges. Check cuticle & sidewall areas & remove any product that has come into contact with skin before placing nails into light. Place hand in LED 9G Light for 20 seconds or 36 watt UV Light for 2minutes.
  15. Wipe off the "tacky" surface layer using a nail wipe moistened with CLEANSE.
  16. Condition the surrounding skin with NOURISH Cuticle oil.
 
NOTE: STRUCTURE can also be used over the top of GELISH colour if demarcations are more evident once the colour is applied or if using multiple colours and fading STRUCTURE will fill any demarcations between colours. Seal with TOP IT OFF.

**Some Darker Gelish colours may require longer curing times
 
 
GELISH Maintenance
  1. Sanitise your and the clients hands.
  2. Perform natural nail preparation by gently pushing back the cuticle & removing non-living tissue from the nail plate.
  3. Using a 180g file, lightly file over the entire nail to remove the shine and blend GELISH to the natural nail.
  4. On the natural nail gently file using the 100g BUFFER. Be sure not to angle your buffer so that you do not create any damage to the natural nail.
  5. Remove filing dust.
  6. Thoroughly clean the nail plate to remove all contaminants using a lint free wipe moistened with CLEANSE.
  7. Sparingly apply 1 coat of PH BOND to the natural nail only. DO NOT flood the surrounding skin.
  8. Apply GELISH FOUNDATION - Wipe applicator against the neck of the bottle to remove excess product from the brush. Apply 1 THIN coat by massaging FOUNDATION into the entire surface and then wipe towards the free edge making sure to seal/cap the free edges. Check cuticle & side wall areas, remove any FOUNDATION that has come into contact with the skin before placing hand into light.
  9. Place hand in the LED 9G Light for 10 seconds or 36 watt UV Light for 1 minute.
  10. Using a clean dry brush or clean dry lint free wipe gently remove the shiny surface. "Deglaze" from FOUNDATION. DO NOT USE CLEANSER (this is a "dry clean" of the FOUNDATION surface).
  11. Apply 1 THIN coat of GELISH Soak Off Gel Polish. Gently wipe applicator brush against the neck of the bottle to remove excess product from brush. Place the brush in the centre of the nail slightly away from cuticle area, gently push brush back toward cuticle & pull toward the free edge keeping the brush parallel to the nail. Be sure to seal/cap free edges. Check cuticle & sidewall areas & remove any product that has come into contact with skin before placing nails into light.
  12. Place hand in 9GLED Light for 30 seconds or 36 watt UV Light for 2 minutes.
  13. For darker coverage, repeat Step 11& 12.
  14. Apply GELISH TOP IT OFF Sealer from cuticle to free edge using 1 THIN Light application.
  15. Place hand in 9GLED Light for 20 seconds or UV Light for 2 minutes.
  16. Wipe off the "tacky" surface layer using a nail wipe moistened with CLEANSE.
  17. Condition the surrounding skin with NOURISH Cuticle oil.

    18. For use when client is having the same colour reapplied or a darker colour applied.
 
 
GELISH Soak off Removal
GELISH Removal With Cotton & Foll
  1. Using a 180g FILE gently file the surface of the GELISH TOP IT OFF to break the seal and remove shine.
  2. Saturate a cotton wool or cosmetic pad with SOAK OFF and apply to the top of the nail surface.
  3. Wrap snugly in foil and allow to sit for 10 MINUTES.
  4. Securely grip each foil wrap and use a twisting motion to firmly pull the wrap from 1 nail at a time. If a significant amount of product remains rewrap the nail and allow SOAK OFF to penetrate a few more minutes.
  5. Gently slide any residual product from the nail using an orange wood stick.
  6. Re-application of GELISH refer to application guide.
  7. If you are NOT reapplying GELISH use the 220/280g BUFFER to lightly smooth the nail surface.
  8. Bring nails to a high shine using ECO SHINE 2 sided high shine buffer
  9. Condition the nail plate and surrounding skin with NOURISH cuticle oil.
 
Note:
If you have done GELISH
fill maintenance on the nails removal
time may be longer.

GELISH Magneto Application instructions:
1. After removing the shine from the natural nail plate, apply Gelish Cleanser to a lint-free nail wipe and wipe the nail to remove dust
.
2. Apply Gelish pH Bond to the natural nail plate, then apply a thin coat of Gelish Foundation from the eponychium to the free edge (remember to seal the free edge).

3. Cure under the LED 18G light for five seconds or a UV light for one minute.

4. Apply a thin coat of Magneto magnetic gel polish. Cure the nails under the LED 18G light for 30 seconds or a UV light for two minutes.

5. Apply a second thin coat of magnetic gel polish to the nails. To create the magnetic EFX design pattern, immediately place the cap that contains the magnet directly above the nail for three to five seconds. Cure under the LED 18G light for 30 seconds or a UV light for two minutes.

6. Apply a thin coat of Gelish Top It Off Gel Sealer to seal in the design on the nail (remember to seal the edge of the nail).

7. Cure under the LED 18G light for 30 seconds or a UV light for two minutes.

8. Remove the tacky residue on nails with the Gelish Cleanser. Apply Gelish Nourish Cuticle Oil.
